The Brown Men's and Women's teams work with the Providence SquashBusters program, an urban youth development organization that provides middle and high school students with academic tutoring and squash instruction. In this photo, some kids from the SquashBusters program cheer on Brown Squash during one of our matches!
"We have a great opportunity and privilege as Brown Varsity Squash players to act as mentors to and supporters of the Providence Urban Squash Program, Squashbusters. I have been involved with Squashbusters since high school and have found it so inspiring and rewarding to be able to coach, tutor, and mentor young inner-city kids. A highlight of my week is going to spend an afternoon working with the kids! They look up to us varsity players as role models and we show them how special it is to be a varsity athlete at Brown and inspire them to work toward that goal."

"Working with the Squashbusters program has been a rewarding part of my college experience at Brown. I'm disappointed with Brown U's decision. These kids told us they want to be Brown university squash players when they grow and you are taking that away from them. Why would you do that?"
